Charlie Shaffer & Herb Remington - Precious Memories

When Herb Remington heard Charlie Shaffer play, he said "If Charlie had been born first, we may never have heard of Liberace." Charlie was born in Houston and now lives and performs in Las Vegas. He attended Spring Branch High School in Houston where he played trumpet in the band and then attended the University of Houston on a band scholarship. He has appeared in Las Vegas at the Desert Inn, Caesar's Palace, The Sands, MGM Grand, Harrah's, and most others on the strip. He has arranged and conducted for such entertainers as Merv Griffin, Sammy Davis, Johnny Carson, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin, and on and on. Charlie has a dedicated fan club which extends from Canada to Mexico.
